La Taverna al Porto in Eckernforde

We had two pizzas to take away today and I have to say, I've rarely eaten such a good pizza. This is how I imagine pizza in Italy. Price-performance is absolute upper class.

We had guests at home and ordered and picked up 3 courses for 4 people. Everything was recorded correctly and in a friendly manner on the phone. When it was picked up, everything was packed and packed on time to the minute. Very friendly service with all hygiene measures. The antipasti misto were varied and tasty and with things that you don't get everywhere. The main courses (beef fillet with vegetables and lamb fillet with a herb crust) were very generous, the meat was of great quality and roasted potatoes with rosemary in halves (so it could be reheated) tasted excellent. The hit was the orange tiramisu, a really big piece that we cleaned up completely because it was so delicious! We would love to come back!

Were there to pick up a few times during the Corona period and I have to say that it has always been delicious. The staff was nice. Delivery is possible as well as the payment. by debit card.

Good Italian restaurant very nice staff. The pizzas are delicious and huge 3 out of 4 you couldn't open them. The other dishes also looked very tasty we will try the next time. We'd love to come back.

Actually wanted to eat here and asked for a table for us. The waitress informed us that all tables were already reserved. That's ok, but it can be communicated in a more friendly way and not in such an indifferent and condescending way.

My food was delicious, but the wife's pizza was overdone. They did offer to make it again, but we'd already waited an hour and a half for the food.

A very tasty Italian restaurant in Eckernförde. There is fine cuisine in a nice ambience. The staff is very friendly, quick and accommodating. All hygiene measures are observed. We felt very comfortable and the food was just delicious. I can only recommend the restaurant to everyone.

Delicious food, especially the foccacia (the best foccacia far and wide) and bruscetta are delicious. The staff could be more attentive.

Delicious risotto and pasta. Very freshly prepared. A reservation is recommended. We will be back.

Nice place facing on the port. The cuisine, albeit not from an Italian cook, is pretty close to the original (of course no pasta "al dente" real italian level, but that's understandable). Dishes are well done and portions are pretty large. Caveat: like all restaurants in this area, kitchen close incredibily early (after 21:30 no grill, total closure at 22:00). 5th star was lost, by a short measure, only because waiter was not really professional at beginning... Maybe tired. Thought luck. But in general seems a good place to eat, especially if you are starving.

A great place in the middle of the city and close to the harbor and the promenade. Service was friendly and the food was good. Price / performance ratio is not quite optimal. But if you want to eat very comfortably and deliciously, you will not be disappointed here. The offer doesn't really differ from the "a Tavola" 400m further in the old building school. And the whole design is quite similar ... 😉 maybe an unimportant info

Even in the current "Corona period" we spontaneously got a cozy place there. The service was very friendly with Italian charm. The food is quick, hot and really tasty. The prices more than reasonable. Have spontaneously gone there will definitely come back planned.

Italian restaurant in historic walls, near the harbor with a beautiful terrace with harbor views, nicely furnished. Classic Italian menu. The food is good". Inexpensive lunch table. Very friendly service.

Nice place, would recommend and their pasta in general is great. It also has a nice balcony in the open air which is great in summer, combined with the winter of the sea.

I celebrated my birthday here with my family last year, it was a complete success! Pizza, meat, fish, all of excellent quality, everyone tasted good and the ambience does the rest. Not cheap, but definitely worth it.

Good food, perfectly grilled fish, but the 'remoulade' dipping sauce for the fish and salad seemed more German than Italian.

Great service, wonderful food and not expensive, restaurant with style. What more can one expect? 5 stars
